Ticking Noise

While decelerating theres a loud ticking noise coming from what sounds like the rear of the jeep. If I accelerate it seems to stop. During idle it will do it just a little bit, but most of it is when I'm decelerating and coming to a stop. Any ideas?

No I haven't checked those. I described the sound wrong it's more of a popping noise coming to a stop mainly around 10 mph to stopping. If it is the uv joints what should I do to check it?

It sounds like it could be the rear brakes, have you checked them?

I've just briefly skimmed over the brakes but haven't taken anything apart yet. I was thinking the same thing as if something is loose or the pins are messed up. Is that what your thinking?

After driving for a bit it actually sounds like it's coming from the front, when I put on brakes and its stopping it does a couple pops then when I start to accelerate it does it again as if it does it when the suspension goes up and down, I've inspected the front suspension and see no obvious damage.

It sounds like it could be a sway bar link or mount on the frame that has come loose. Also check for any signs of rust powder around any of the suspension components which is a sign of looseness or failure. Please get back to me.

So I checked away bar links and everything looks good, there not loose or show any signs of damage. I also don't see any rust powder. I don't know what it could be. It doesn't do it all the time just once and a while and at low speeds, like going thru a parking lot and starting to brake.

If the caliper slides are worn or loose or if you are missing the caliper slide bolts it will make a ticking noise at low speeds, can you look at them please and get back to me?

Update: I had my car at the shop for a tune up and they checked the noise. Turns out it was just the emergency brake shoes. Thanks for all the input and help.
