I was driving home yesterday and when i got close to home, i noticed a thumping noise when i was slowing down and turning. it almost sounded like a flat tire thumping when it gets very low. car drove as normal as ever, no pulling either direction. nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary.

when i got home, i got out to take a look at it. when i started to get out i heard a one time relatively loud creak noise. every time i pushed down on the car i could hear it only one time. then when i was going to inspect my brakes, because they are a little overdue to be replaced. the rim was very hot to the touch. it was only the driver side rear tire.

any help would be appreciated

have a pro check your brakes and tires it may have a bulge causing your noise.
