Car will shift gear R, L, D, but doesn't have enough power to drive. Slow acceleration, like pedal is not responding.

First, I have to tell you that specific vehicle isn't offered in the US, so my technical information is very limited. When you have a loss of power often times it is related to a restriction in the exhaust system (catalytic converter).
