Press the accelerator pedal and vehicle does not go

I was driving and I went to give it gas I had realized that it wasn't going so I pushed it to the floor and it still wasn't going anywhere. so I shut it off turn it back on started it put the pedal to the floor again and it didn't go anywhere. Throttle pedal positioning sensor?

This could be a sensor issue but your vehicle has a throttle cable that is directly connected to the throttle body. So it is unlikely that the sensor would cause this. Basically the sensor just tells the PCM that the throttle is moving but would not necessarily cause the RPM to be none responsive.

I would suggest starting with checking to make sure when you press the accelerator that the throttle plate is actually moving. If it is, then let's check for codes.
