I have a 2007 Nissan Altima. 2.5L 4cyl.
When coming out of a coast the car [feels like the throttle] hesitates/cuts out for a brief second. It is very intermitted.
I took the car to Nissan dealership. The service manager finally caught it on the scanner. They mentioned a weak signal [didn’t say to what]. They replaced the battery and did a throttle body treatment/cleaning [thought was off with the weak signal], no parts replaced. Improved for a while.
Getting frustrated I replaced the throttle body. Did the relearn with the starter button method. Idle actually improved/dropped the rpm slightly and ran better. Improved some. Didn’t correct the issue.
I have an Autel mk900bt. After a few live data drive tests. I notice the close throttle switch coming on in some of the runs.
I need to get this resolved to confidently commute to work. let me know your thoughts.
Thanks in advance. Joseph.

Do you have any codes? This would help us, also a weak signal from the crankshaft sensor which will not cause a code, it will just make the engine hesitate and stall. Also, a bad MAF sensor can cause this without codes as well. Here is a guide to help us see what causes hesitations.

We need more information to help you fix the problem. You can unplug the MAF sensor to see if the problem goes away, also here is the location of the crankshaft sensor. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
