Throttle body issues and code p0120 turned on after I replaced the starter?

Did this problem happen right after the starter replacement or days after? There are some fuses that are associated with the starter that may have blown, here is a wiring diagram so you can check the fuses and a guide to help:

If all the fuses are good, it looks like the throttle body code p0120 and p1120 both say the TPS sensor is no good. I have included the replacement instructions for its replacement as well. Also, you must adjust the TPS sensor.

I already replaced the TPS sensor that’s when it threw the second code. Yes, it happened immediately after I replaced the starter. All fuses are good. I did a cleaning on the throttle body while it was off while I was replacing the starter. Is there a way to calibrate the TPS without a Toyota handheld device?

Yes, there are other scanners that can read the throttle angle so you can adjust it. Search throttle angle scanner and you should be able to find one. Please let me know what happens. Sometimes working the throttle plate too quickly when cleaning can damage the unit, I would remove the electrical connector to make sure it is not damaged or corroded from water damage as well.

Thank you for all your help. The diagrams were very useful in finally diagnosing the problem which ended up being a frayed wire under the plastic wrapping that went to the TPS sensor. I got my truck back up and running with no codes! Thank you again. :)
