Throttle body flap does not move (no acceleration), codes P1192, p1195 and p2119

Hi,

When the P2119 is set, the other two are set automatically. What I am going to provide are the diagnostics for the P2119. I feel if you find the fault for that code, the other two will be taken care of.

If you look at the attachments below, I included the diagnostics and pics specific to the code.

PCM connected: Short to harness 'ETC' harness (B-43), all measurements between wires show 0.654 mhom; with PCM disconnected, then infinite (OL).
With PCM connected all those wires on short to ground show infinite.

When you disconnect the PCM, the circuit is open and there will be no resistance (infinite). Did you check the ETS motor?

Yes, ETS motor (1 ohm between the three, no variations). Questions: 1) If i buy a used PCM do I have to program it? 2) Can the Throttle Control Module - Kia (35110-39500) cause this?

Hi,

A PCM will require programming for your vehicle. As far as the module, yes it could be the issue as well.

If you plan to replace the PCM, check online first. You may be able to get a remanufactured one already programmed for your vehicle for a good price.
