Leaking transmission fluid from a crack

Trying to find out what this part is called so I can change it. It's attached to the (drive shaft?) It's towards the front of the van, behind the transmission pan, a couple/few feet behind the front axle.
I'm pretty good with tools/mechanical stuff because I'm a plumber, but I'm hoping I don't have to drop the transmission or anything crazy.
If anyone could tell me what this part is called that would be really helpful I think. Thank you in advance.

Okay, thanks. That is the tail shaft housing. You need to replace that. Even though there is not pressure there, the heat and cold will not allow any sealer to hold on that crack.

What transmission do you have? What series van so I can get you a picture.

The above is a link to the part, I think... What is on the part is RF-F3LP-7A040-AA BASIC 46A
So I think I need to jack up a support under the transmission, and then go at the nuts? Any suggestions? Ideas? Cautions? Pitfalls? I don't know what transmission, it's the 4.6 liter engine.

You need to remove the driveshaft. Remove the cross member and the transmission mount. Then you can unbolt the housing and remove it.
