Thermostat location needed

This is way more involved than on almost any other domestic engine. You might want to read through the pages of instructions first. I recommend a paper copy of the manufacturer's service manual, but for a job like this, a Haynes or Chiltons manual might be okay too. With an automatic transmission, the first step is to remove the exhaust manifold!
