Transmission not going into gear?

I need a little information. When you indicate, "the sound does not come," what are you referring to? Do you mean there is no indication of transmission engagement?

Also, the X-Trail isn't offered in the US, but I will try my best to help. Let me know exactly what is happening and anything you can think of that may help me diagnose the issue.

Please, when I start the car, it starts but when I put it on the drive then the sound does not come, and it doesn't move.

If the vehicle will not move when placed in gear, have you checked the transmission fluid level and condition? If not, start there. Here is a link that explains how to check it:

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you are referring to. Do you mean the engine doesn't increase in speed (RPMs) or the engine does increase, and the vehicle does not move?
