The pulley fell off of the part that operates the A/C

Did pulley came off the part that operates the A/C? Also, i need to buy a new one but i don't know what to ask for (help).

At this point, I am going to give you pictures of the compressor as it does sound like you will need to replace the compressor.

REMOVAL
1. RUN ENGINE AT IDLE SPEED WITH A/C ON FOR APPROX.1O MINUTES
2. STOP ENGINE
3. DISCONNECT NEGATIVE (-) TERMINAL CABLE FROM BATTERY
4. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
5. REMOVE DRIVE BELT

6. 1MZ-FE engine models:
REMOVE SUCTION HOSE
a. Remove the suction hose clamping bolt.
b. Disconnect the wire harness clamp.
c. Loosen the nut and bolts and remove the suction hose.

NOTE: Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.

7. 1MZ-FE engine models:
DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE
Remove the bolt and disconnect the hose.

NOTE: Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.

8. 1MZ-FE engine models:
REMOVE GENERATOR
a. Disconnect the generator connector.
b. Remove the nut, and disconnect the generator wire.
c. Disconnect the wire harness from the clip.
d. Remove the pivot bolt, plate washer, adjusting lock bolt and generator.

9. 5S-FE engine models:
DISCONNECT DISCHARGE AND SUCTION HOSES
Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect both hoses.

NOTE: Cap the open fittings Immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.

10. 5S-FE engine models:
REMOVE COMPRESSOR
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 3 bolts and compressor.

11. 1MZ-FE engine models:
REMOVE COMPRESSOR
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and drive belt adjusting bar bracket.

After looking at it this morning it looks like the the piece that the belt fits on is what came off.The big piece that it goes over is still there. Can i but this piece by itself ?

I attached a picture for you. There is no tensioner as the belt tension is controlled by the alternator. It can be moved up and down for proper belt tension.

That looks like the harmonic balancer that the belt rides on at the front of the crankshaft.

I attached a picture for you to view.

You can access it through the right wheel well after you remove the tire. You will need an air gun or electric gun to release the bolt that holds it tight.

I saw it and posted my response.

That is the harmonic balancer. Looks like it walked forward and flipped the belt off.

You need to replace it.
