the key doesn't turn on and doesn't move when I put on. I don't know why the key doesn't move when I put it to start the car. I move the sterling left and right but there is nothing. I want to know why the key is not moving

Have you tried lightly tapping on the key hole of the ignition cylinder with a hammer then trying to turn it with the key?Do you have a less worn key to try?You most likely have a bad ignition cylinder.
