I had major power issues where I had no crank, round corroded power wires that feed the ignition switch, repaired, now I have crank. However, the vehicle will not start. It seems to me that I am getting no fuel , plus I do not hear my fuel pump priming. Having the initial electrical issue, I want to determine if the Pump works at all, but not quite sure what voltages i should be seeing at the FPDM. My questions are:
Can I apply direct twelve volts to the pump and hear it priming or running to verify that the pump works at all?
If it does prime or run with direct twelve volts would the PCM or FPDM be at fault. I know I have twelve volts from the inertia switch to the FPDM and I have ground, not quite sure what to see coming from the PCM.
