Test injectors with test light?

I was going to test my injectors and i believe I may have switched the negative side battery terminal with positive and checked for 12v. Now I get no response at all. I had power before this.

No response from what? You switched the negative and positive of what? The battery? The test light? Where are you checking for 12 volts, and why. What type of problem are you trying to solve? If you have no injector pulses, have you checked for spark or did you get stuck on the first thing you found missing? Are you referring to power to the injectors or to the entire van?

If possible, listen for the hum of the fuel pump for a few seconds after a helper turns on the ignition switch. Let me know what you find.
