Looking the location of the OnStar telematic box in the 2025 Chevy Equinox light keeps going from red to green. What make sure the wire harnesses and antenna wires are secured and snapped tight.
It was told it was location under headliner near back. But ill ask you all. You all never miss.

First off it should be under warranty so I would suggest talking to a dealer first, that way if the entire interior has to come out (which it does) just to get to the module and wiring, it's on them to get it correct.
However, the module is in the rear of the roof in front of the hatch trim as you were told.
