TCM location

Vehicle listed above is a sedan. I have been having transmission issues, very delayed shifts and hard shifting when placed in reverse. I have drained the transmission fluid and was very little flakes on the magnet. It has displayed different codes, once for solenoid A, then solenoid c. I was looking for the TCM to replace, but after in-depth searching, I didn't not find it. If there is one I would love to know where it is, or is it integrated with the PCM located on the battery box. If so will changing the PCM do me any good?

Good afternoon,

I would not consider the module until you find the issue. The fact you had metal in the fluid tells me something is coming apart in the transmission and there is metal in the valve body.

Hello again.

I would definitely not consider changing the PCM at this point. Also, before changing the TCM you might want to see if there are transmission codes stored in your vehicles computer.If you don't have access to a scanner or code reader most auto parts stores have a tool loaner program and can rent you one.Just be sure the unit has automatic transmission code reading ability. Some auto parts stores like AutoZone will check codes for free. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved:
