I had a second transmission solenoid say low voltage. Chevy dealer put in a brand-new transmission. I have the same exact problem intermittently. I traced it to the wire harness connector at the TCM module. I need to replace the connector and the TCM module. Can the TCM be preprogrammed with my VIN number or with having a new transmission, will something else have to be done? Is there a special tool to remove the pins from the old connector? Thanks! Stan

Yes, on the reprogrammed TCM using your VIN number which you can get by searching Google or Ebay. Here are the wiring diagrams and connector view so you to help you with the repair. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
