Code U0101, where is the TCM located?

Had a leak from transmission in the Axle seal. Fixed it. Now the car is throwing U0101 code. We can’t find info on where the TCM is located and how to go about fixing. We think it’s something connected to the TCM that is causing a communication issue. Any advice or help?!

It looks like there are two they talk about, one is on top of the transmission at the shift control lever and the other is the shifter assembly, they both contain electronics. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
