Not starting

Hello,

It is possible to have a clogged fuel filter or a faulty fuel pressure regulator, which will impact the amount of fuel and fuel pressure to the engine. Another possibility is to have a weak fuel pump, or you could have debris on the fuel pump strainer.
Since you are able to make the engine run with starting fluid, the issue has to be fuel supply.
Check the fuel pressure, it should be 9-13 PSI with the key on and engine off.
Most auto parts stores have fuel pressure test gauges that you can use.

I installed a new adjustable pressure regulator with a gauge on the supply line, I am getting good pressure. I have been wondering if the throttle position sensor or God forbid the ECM is faulty.

When you crank the engine, check to see if you are actually getting fuel out of the injector.
Also are you getting any error codes?
