hi guys, now here it is: prior to this noise i have changed the camshaft sensor, VVT solenoid sensor, coil packs, spark plugs, valve cover gasket. i flushed drained engine oil twice then replaced with a new filter and oil. i also noticed while in the engine the timing chain had about half an inch play as in loose. could that be the issue? i'm not sure. anyhow now i'm getting this tapping in the engine. once or twice it won't be there for about a minute then after that it starts tapping .
i have attached the link to video , maybe one of you can help me figure this tapping out. thank you in advance

here's a video link if the uploaded video don't play.

Good morning,

The noise is an internal failure in the motor. It is either a main or rod bearing or possibly a broken piston.

The engine will have to be taken apart to find the issue. The end result will most likely be either a rebuild or replacement engine.

The cheapest way out is a used engine. I would go to www.car-part.com and enter your zip code for available engines in your area.

it's funny you mention, i also forgot to mention that when i got in the valve cover and looked down the engine i pulled out a broken piece of what look to be a grey piece almost aluminum looking but magnetic. i pulled it out from right under the camshaft . i'm thinking now it's a broken rod bearing. thank you for clarifying this with me. i appreciate this info...
