Tapping noise in engine

Noise started yesterday. I don’t know if it’s a lifter tap or chain slap. Also what can be the cause of the noise and how to fix it?

That could be one or the other. So can you increase the RPM and see if the noise gets faster or changes at all? Maybe get the exact same video with someone reving the engine.

Awesome. That sounds like a timing chain slap to me. I would replace the tensioner and guides if they show signs of wear as well. I attached the process. Let me know if you have questions.
