Tail light problem

That indicates one of the light bulbs is burned out on the exterior of the vehicle. First, have a helper watch the rear and front signal and marker lights to confirm which one is bad. It could be a brake light, turn signal (which will cause the flasher to double time) back up light.

Once you determine which bulb is bad, simply replace it. Here are a couple links that show in general how different bulbs are replaced:
