If you're trying to wire a brake ;light, why are you looking for the parking light?
This is not quite as simple as tapping into the brake light circuit. Both lower brake lights are likely also wired as turn signals and the 3rd brake light cannot be.

It wouldn't be a parking light. Parking lights are designed with lower intensity so not to be confused with brake lights. that would be a brake light.

If it's going to be behind that sign you can probably get away with it. The tail light wire is brown.

That's a 2 circuit socket and you only need on. If you use that you will have to use a 2 filament bulb. The black will be ground and you will have to test the other 2 wires to see which one is the lower intensity. That bulb socket was designed for both brake and tail in one socket. You can ground the black wire to anything metal in the car.
