T-belt dash pilot lamp came on on an Isuzu bighorn even after changing the timing belt with a new one.

The t-belt dashboard pilot lamp of a 1999 Isuzu Bighorn came on and we replaced the old timing belt with a new one,but the t-belt lamp is still on. What could be the cause,and how do I troubleshoot and solve the problem? Please help

we don't have this model here in the states nor do any of the ones we have here have a timing belt light. I think that's a great idea though. it should be set at a certain mileage like the Isuzu troopers 02 sensor light. if the vehicle is running fine after the installation of the belt then the light probably just needs to be reset
