Swapping out transmissions

I have the car listed above police interceptor, and the transmission is starting to slip. I need to replace it, but I am not sure exactly what size/kind of transmission I need because it is an old cop car. I found a transmission from an old Crown Victoria interceptor, but it is an 2003. Can I use an 2003 transmission in my 2004?

Good evening.

There are two different transmissions.

Look on the driver side of the transmission. Along the middle to top are speed sensors. one transmission has one sensor and the other has two. You need to have the transmission with whatever your car currently has.

In the picture I sent you shows one. If there was another one it would be towards the top of the transmission on the same side.
