Swapping motor and transmission

I have the truck listed above Cheyenne, and I was wondering if a 1996 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 motor and transmission would swap into my Cheyenne. I know it has a vortc 350 and transmission not sure.

Hello,

As long as the 1996 has the 5.0 V8 like your 1995. Engine swap will work. As for the transmission, you want to make sure that it is the same as your truck. It will be either 4L60e or 4L80e.
