2003 Suzuki XL7 what is the procedure for Replacing a MAP s

MyCheck engine light came on. The dealer says its a Map sensor malfunction that will effect my gas mileage. The dealer says its not important to replace.

Where can I find the proper map sensor part and find out the correct procedure for replacing it? If I don't replace it will it cause any undo wear on my motor?.

Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor
Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is connected to ECM by a 3-wire harness and to engine by a manifold vacuum hose. MAP sensor has an internal mechanical resistor which varies resistance based on changes in engine load (manifold vacuum). As internal resistance varies, return voltage signal to ECM varies. ECM interprets this voltage change as changes in engine load and uses this signal to help determine control of fuel injectors and other various sensors and switches.

MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR
Removal (Grand Vitara, Vitara & XL-7)
Disconnect negative cable at battery.
Disconnect connector from manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor (1).
Remove manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor (1) from intake manifold (2). See Fig. 95 .
Installation
Confirm that vacuum passage on intake manifold is free from clog.
Apply engine oil to "O" ring of manifold absolute pressure sensor.
Install manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor (1) to intake manifold (2). See Fig. 95 .
Connect connector to manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor (1) securely. See Fig. 95 .
