How much on average would it cost to get your head gasket replaced. I'm being quoted an unbelievable amount and I would like some advice here. It did go into the red when it overheated and i heard a pop. I thought it was just the radiator hose that busted but was later informed that it was also the head gasket. I am going to get a second opinion but would like to know how much i can expect this repair job to cost. thanks
