I have gone to mechanics and get a different answer as to what this code is p1382.
I looked online and found that suzuki was listed on this code as ABS wheel speed sensor. This kind of makes sense since the abs light is on. The car runs fine and brakes fine. I cannot get it inspected until the check engine light is off.
What to do nobody seems to know.

What do you mean you can't get it inspected until the check engine light is off? You can go to your local Advance Auto Parts, O'Reilly Auto Parts, and many other auto parts stores and have the check engine code erased. If it is throwing the code you say then you should just simply replace the sensor and both the ABS and the Check Engine lights will go out..

IF it was that simple I would have been finished except the sensors are fine and code has been erased and the light comes back on immediately. In this state upon inspection the computer is connected directly to the state central computer and it tracks erasures as well which are stored and requires a 30 mile no light record after erased to pass inspection.
If anyone has suzuki experience of this type please let me know. This is not a usual situation.

It turned out to be the front wheel bearing just starting to go bad, which I guess would change the speed of the wheel , thus give the speed sensor the error, so the sensor was ok, I replaced the wheel bearing which started to hum, after that ,the error went away. So if the wheel is humming slightly, it maybe going bad and give an error to the sensor.
