Can I repair the short or ground tthat I've located in the backlighting circuitry of my instrument cluster? The gauges still operate, but I had to disconnect the backlighting circuit because it caused a system-short, blowing the 15amp fuse for my fuel pump circuit. The disconnection of the backlighting circuit allows my car to run, but I now have no radio, dome light, left-right turn signals, park or courtesy lamps, or taillights.
