I missplaced my manual and need the name for this part so I can order a new one. It is rusty and corroded and is leaking coolant from the resevoir. Leakage is straight out of the two terminals extending from the end of the piece.

The site's not letting me PM you with the VIN due to me not having 10 or more posts. Is there any other form of contact where I can send you the VIN?

Thanks.

To be quite honest I'm not sure "exactly" what the part is for. I did however think that one of the smaller hoses maybe comes from the housing unit to the engine. The other goes to another similar place. They both however join together to this part, then are dispursed to their appropriate destinations. Those two small ends that are rusted away connect to the two small lines i was holding in my hand in one of the photos. That is where the coolant is leaking from.

I tested the leak by filling my resevoir to the required level. I left the hood open and watched for any leaks while the engine was running. Inevitably it started leaking from those ends. The resevoir empties after a week or two of driving. It's not a really bad leak, but a nuisance I'd like to get rid of. I don't know if the resevoir problem and that leak are connected, but it is quite coincidental.

First photo is basically the parts involved.
(see attached picture 1)

Second is where one of the small hoses connects to on the side of the throttle body.
(see attached picture 2)

Third is where the 2nd hoses goes. Probably to the housing.
(see attached picture 3)

Fourth is just an overall look.

I'm glad I'm not a Suzuki parts guy...

the parts book calls it "Heater, Breather"
the price book calls it "pipe"

suggested list is $23.25.

now the bad news, it shows back ordered at 2 warehouses. and "low quantity" at the 3rd. so you might not be able to buy it.

but. (drum roll please...)
the part number is 18990-56b10

good luck

Just letting you know I called my local Suzuki dealer immediately this morning and they were able to get me the breather from ATL. Thanks so much!
