I have a 1994 Suzuki Sidekick JLX. 4 cyl. 16 valve SOHC 1.6L engine. The mileage is over 100k. I have replaced the speedometer cable several times and the speedomoter will bounce a little and be inaccurate and then finally will stop working again. I have also replaced the gear in the transfer case that operates the speedo. Now I have found out that the gear in the cluster behind the speedometer itself is bad and I need to find out if I can replace that gear or do I have to find a junk yard that has the entire cluster. I ordered a cluster from a salvage yard and it looked like the one on my car but the back of it is different and does not fit. My car takes the cluster that has room for 2 plugs in the back. I need to know where I can get this part and I have also heard this happens ALOT in Sidekicks over 100k. Thank you.[img:141db030c6]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/71662_Chris_New_Suzuki_003_3_1.jpg[/img:141db030c6]
