No Brake Lights

My 97,Esteem Brake jights don't work,I checked the fuses,And the one that says brake lights was blown,I tryed putting on a new one but as soon as I would step on the brakes,It blows the fuse,I already blew 5 fuses,I don't know what to do?(HELP ME,PLEASE) My car is 1997 Sazuki Esteem,has about 120000 miles on it.I don't know the engine size :cry:

does the fuse blow as soon as you put it in? if it does there is a oinched or broken wire that is grounding itself out when you put the fuse in, if not start at the brake light switch and check the wires, also check the bulds and the sockets for a bad bulb and check to see if there is a crossed wire.
