2000 Other Suzuki Models engine stall when driving

Hi Ian,

What is the model of your vehicle?
Is the Check Engine light showing?
Are you able to keep the engine from stalling by applying throttle pressure?
Did this happen after any repairs?
What is the idling speed when it does not stall?

it is a suzuki mini van type,it has 3 cylinders and a E.F.I enigine,its is a second hand car,it has no check light engine beacause it is a oild model van,the engine still shut down even if i put a pressure on the throttle,this is the first trouble after i bought it.what am i going to do?

EFI engined vehicles would normally have a self diagnostic terminal. It has been a long time since I last handled such a vehicle and my assistance would be limited.

When engne stalls, are you able to restart?

i read the the link that you give me and its a big help for me i find out what the reason is,i find out that my fuel filter is full of dirt after i clean the tank and the change the filter the car now is back to normal.and also red the manual of my car it is a suzuki super carry 2004 model minivan.once again thank for helping me.

good day to all of you,i have another problem,my auntie have a problem on her car,and she consult me,her car is mitshubishi lancer GLxi 1996 model,ECI MULTI engine,the problem is when she turn on the key the the check engine indicator will apear and when she starts it the check engine will disapear after a few minutes around 2 to 4 minutes the check ingine will apear again until she shut off the engine,even if the car is running the check engine is still there,i dont where i gonna start checking it,what is the probable cause of this?what is the first thing i will do on tihis?how do i fix it?hope you can help me on this.

When the CHECK engine light is showing, an error has been detected in the engine management system and you would have to retrieve the trouble code to know what is causing it.

Most parts stores provides the scaning services frre, get it done and let me know the exact trouble code.
