1987 Other Suzuki Models THERMOSTAT PROBLEM

I m from india .I own suzuki omni van of 3 cylinder. i seen in my car not thermostat available in original position.so not problem create in engine coolling system.please give answer for future reference.In our country most mechanic thermostat take out from original position so any problem create????
