Is there a centrifugal supercharger that is not only belt driven but also connected to the exhaust? I think the purpose would be to remove turbo lag in the beginning but once the revs are high enough it uses the exhaust to spool instead. Kind of a best of both worlds: no turbo lag but no parasitic power from the belt.
