sunroof interior panels

Front panel is off track . Rear panel must be in car roof. Everything else works great . Do not know how to put panel back on or new rear panel when I get one. The car is a 2002 xj8. I was opening sunroof and then closed sunroof. The rear panel did not come back with front panel. I feel two pins sticking out of sunroof track . How do I put interior front panel back on and rear one when I get new one.

i had this issue and had to replace the entire unit.

call Great Britians in willow grove and ask for there jag tech. he has helped me many times.

I have fixed the panel situation by putting the vent up and then my head sideways. I then saw the small rear panel in car above headliner and pulled it out and putback on track and all works great now. From robert
