Hello everyone, I was wondering if anybody could give me some pointers on what to do or look for. I changed both the lower and upper intake manifold gasket on my vehicle listed above c1500, because it suddenly started to leak from the lower and it caused the vehicle to overheat. It worked perfectly fine before. I reassembled everything, everything looks good, but it does not turn on. It cranks but does not start. I'm not sure what the problem could be I connected all the pluses and grounds. I checked the fuel line, and it looks like it has plenty of pressure. I tried using carburetor cleaner on the carburetor but got nothing. not sure If I messed up any pieces when I was cleaning the manifold. Has anyone had any similar experience?

When you replaced the gaskets did you replace the injector spider? This would go bad all the time in the shop when we worked on anything intake related and the engine would not start, I would use an AC Delco unit only, does the engine have any codes? You can get a code scanner from Amazon for about $20.00.

Here is a guide/video to show you how:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

I did not change the spider. The service engine light does stay on when the key is on, and it was not on before. I'll keep you posted.

Not anytime we had this problem in the shop. It's like if you disturb the injector, it just goes bad, big problem with GM unfortunately.
