2005 Subaru WRX check engine light on

I got this 05 wrx, and naturally i like going really fast sometimes, well yesterday on my way to work i was doin 120 in a tunnel and the check engine light suddenly came on. i did the diagnosis, and it said "Manufacturer contrl ignition system or misfire". i went back into advanced auto parts and asked if they knew what it was and they told me to ask the dealership i bought the car from whens the last time they did a tune up(bought the car recently). im not sure what that manufacturer contrl ignition system or misfire means, can anyone help? i must say the dealership i bought it from was really cheap so i wouldnt be surprised if they didnt take well care of it.

To better assist you is your model just the Impreza WRX or the WRX STi? Also I know it is a 4cyl, can you give me the engine size in liter please.

Next, can you tell me the code number? That is what I really need. If not, pull the code again, please make sure you tell us exactly what the code was, number and all. Example, if the code was E0568 O2 Sensor bad. Then make sure you give us all of that.
