Transmission problem
1997 Subaru Wagon All Wheel Drive Automatic 132000 miles
My AWD Suburu Automatic Wagon:
WHen I downshift to lower gears IE: going down hill or if I trake my foot off the gas after downshifting, the transmission won't hold the lower gear. IT slips into nutral until I add gas and then it kicks back into gear. It holds the lower gears fine going up hills.
Could this be torque converter problem , a vacume problem, a dirty filter, or is this something more serious? Thanks, Rick C
