Shakes or Wobbles problem
2002 Subaru Outback 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic
the front end on my subaru outback station wagon shakes when the brakes are applied. it bagan doing this when the original brakes were ready to be replaced at about 60000 miles. i replaced the brakes and ran fine for about 20000 miles and started shaking(metal brakes). replaced brakes again this time with regular fiber brake pads ran fine for a while and shaking started again. rotated tires, balanced tires, and this would help for a little while but shaking starts again. this only occurs when brakes are applied. i don't see any wear on the front end joints and alignment is good.
