Engine Performance problem
2001 Subaru Outback 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic
Which circuit is the High circuit on and AFR sensor
The wires are as follows:
2 for the heater.
2 for the low circuit, and
2 for the high circuit
The low and high circuit's have a pump voltage, supplied by the ECU to the sensor and a return signal that goes back to the ECU. Without a digital Volt Meter I cannot determine which one is high and which one is low because a reg volt meter shorts it out.
Here is a table from the car manual
Key ON Engine ON
(V) (V)
pin 19 2.8-3.2 2.8-3.2
pin 6 2.4-2.7 2.4-2.7
pin 20 0.2-4.9 0.2-4.9
pin 7 0.2-4.9 0.2-4.9
Would it be safe to assume that pin 19 is the return signal for the high circuit and pins 20 and 7 the pump voltages?
