1999 Subaru Outback air induction/MAF

I used Seafoam to clean my induction system and poured it overtop of my MAF. immediately it ran rough and stalled. So i did some diagnosing and that i came to the conclusion that i fried the sensor. When it was plugged in it would not run more than 5 seconds and as soon as i tried to give it gas it would die. There also was a faint electrical noise when i pressed the throttle. So i unplugged the sensor and it ran better but still slightly rough. I bought a used MAF sensor off of ebay and it did the same then so i thought i bought a bad one and now i bought a brand new sensor and it still does all the same things.

first things first, go get a scan done and check for any unresolved fault codes, you don't get check light son with all codes, do this and report you findings for more assistance.

the fault code is P0102. MAF circuit low input

Check that the wires into the MAF sensor plug are tight and that there's no corrosion on any of the pins, if that is ok, do a continuity check of each wire back to the ECU.
