Shakes or Wobbles problem
1998 Subaru Outback 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 118k miles

My Subaru hesitated real bad and would not even idle so I changed the EGR. It didnt help so I took a section of the muffler pipe out and it seems to run great, just loud now.???????

That is very strange! My subaru is having idle problems and the mechanic suggested it was the cracked Y pipe, but when I called subaru, they said there is no way that's the problem. Seems messing with the exhaust helped you out though!
