Electrical problem
1996 Subaru Outback 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic
Subaru door locks have been malfunctioning for awhile now. Recently the car wont start even though it cranks. Sometimes it will start and die but lately the car won't start until the hood is opened, this has happened about 5 times. Then the car will work just fine for a couple weeks then not start again. Which makes me wonder if there is some security system that is related to the door locks which keep the car from starting? The car won't start at all now. I haven't scanned the car for any trouble codes yet but that will be my next step unless I hear otherwise.
