We have a 99 Subaru Forester with 117,000 miles. We recently had the rear wheel bearings replaced, and after 3 weeks we had to have it towed. The repair shop says the wheel bearing shattered. Does this sound like the shop screwed up or could this be a manufacturer problem? Also, who is liable?
