I have a 1995 Subaru Impreza. It has been having problems when I stop at a stop light and try to get it back up to speed. It starts to shake and jerk like it just can't get there. It helped a little when I shifted to 3rd and back to drive after I got back up to speed. The first place I took it replaced the rotors (I knew this wasn't what was wrong but my husband took it in) Then a friend of mine changed the fuel filter, air filter, and put dry gas through the fuel line. The problem has definately improved but still seems to have a little trouble every once in a while. It is very subtle but I don't want it to get worse. Any ideas? Also it has 125,000 miles should I replace the timing belt and what is a fair cost for this service?
