Why? I have replaced fuse twice and it keeps blowing. Also intermittent air bag sign comes on. Do I have a (bigger) systems problem?

Forester 03 lighter/mirror fuse keeps blowing

If the fuse keeps blowing then the mirror lighter is shorted(could be in the wiring or the item is shorted(grounded out). First do a continuity check of the wiring with the item disconnected from it, if that is okay then either the mirror or the lighter is shorted. Hope it is the lighter vise the mirror from a money stand point.
