Cold Starting

Not to insult your intelligence but what about your battery? They are one of easiest do it yourself jobs. I have a 1991 Loyale and one day it went dead. Bought a new battery and it died the next day. I figured out that my alternator was bad too. Put in a new alternator, had volts going from the alternator to the battery but the car died after I turned it off. After hours of checking wiring connections I forgot the obvious; my new battery was a lemon. Your car battery gage (on your dash board) should read above the "12". If not, you may need a new battery. If you don't have a voltmeter to get exact reading, go to your local auto parts store and ask them to check your battery for you. If your battery is bad, buy a new one right there and usually they will install it for free because you bought from them. Remember, always ask about total cost before you have them touch your car. Most auto parts store employees are not certified mechanics.

I did that already cause that was the first thing i thought about when it stated and i have also done a complete tune up and changed the fuel filter.

Check your fuel filter also the fuel pressure with a gauge, before we take it to the Ignition system.
