when i turn left or right at low speeds there is a clunking noise that comes from the rear what could be possibly be wrong

Hi there,
You will have to have all the rear suspension bushes check, with age these bushes shrink and distort so that the suspension can start to flex and start to clink and knock when under torsional pressure.
